A Few New Pictures

I’m too tired to think of a witty post, so here are some pictures I took of Anthony today. Also, for those of you who have been bugging me, I’ve updated the Players page to include Anthony so now he doesn’t have to tell his therapist about how he doesn’t feel important, special, blah, blah, [...]

When Mommy’s Away

David took the day off of work today to help me out a little. I used the time to catch up on errands. Taking a 2.5 year-old and a newborn out in this cold, snowy weather is just about as appealing as a root canal, so I had a huge backlog of shopping that needed [...]

Goodbye Old Friend

I’m from Wisconsin…born and raised. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Wisconsin, we are the dairy state, and we take that pretty seriously. When I was in college, in Virginia, and I would introduce myself to people they would inevitably learn that I was from Wisconsin and then immediately make fun of my [...]

The Forgotten One

So Lucy has not been getting very much attention lately. She has resorted to making friends with, and finding comfort in some interesting characters.

If you are [...]

You Just Might Be a Parent If…

1) Conversations about poop at the dinner table are not only common, they do not evoke feelings of nausea and you are able to eat your dinner without the slightest hesitation while discussing its color and consistency in great detail
2) Red lights send you into a total panic when you have a sleeping newborn in the backseat
3) [...]

Fun with a Mac

My new Mac has a built in camera. It is one of Madeline’s favorite things to play with (with my supervision). Here are a few pictures we have taken recently

You can even do special effects

SCARY ONES!!!

Okay, I lied. The camera is one of my favorite things to play with and Madeline just wants a piece [...]

Let’s Look at Pictures

Here is a picture of Anthony’s first bath when he was just over a week old

Here is a picture of him taken yesterday

He’s gotten bigger, huh?
This is a picture of Madeline

Here is Anthony in a similar pose

Sometimes I think they look a lot alike, and other times they look nothing alike!

Madeline went to her first [...]

Stop Growing

Today as I was sitting in bed with Anthony I took a look at him and felt like he wasn’t a newborn anymore. It made me sad. I know he is still really young and in most people’s eyes he is still a newborn (this was proven today at our trip to the mall when [...]
